WHO WE ARE
South Asian Health Action (SAHA) is a national charity that supports the physical and mental health needs of the South Asian community.
We’re a patient and carer led organisation which means we listen, understand, and advocate the needs of our South Asian community first.
WHAT WE DO
We work within your local community and organise various events within the region to promote the awareness and importance of major health-related issues, which commonly affect the South Asian community.
Our health initiatives range from organ, blood, and stem cell donation to diabetes, heart disease and mental health projects.
We work closely with both national organisations and local community health care professionals to better support South Asian patients and carers within the region.
WHO DO WE SUPPORT
The communities and individuals we support are those from Indian, Pakistani, Shri Lankan and Bangladeshi backgrounds.
